Julianna’s – Saba, Dutch Caribbean
July 14-21, 2018
“The Unspoiled Queen of the Caribbean”
Saba might be the smallest island in the Netherland Antilles but it certainly does not lack character and opportunity for adventure. Because of this island’s volcanic origins, there is spectacular formations and structural diversity under water. Making it the perfect place to find new and exciting wildlife. Saba is a quite island without cruise ships, fast food restaurants, and crowds. It’s the perfect place for divers and non divers to relax and enjoy a beautiful paradise.
The diving in Saba is incredible. Protected as a national marine park, this divers dream is filled with sharks, turtles, tons of tropical
fish species, and coral of all shapes and colors. Most of the sea bottom is made up of coral boulders. The remains of volcanic activity under the surface – lava stone towers called Pinnacles – are remarkable. Pinnacles rising from the seabed up to 100 meters are covered by corals.
