Have a kid who’s not old enough for certification, but can’t wait to dive?  Now they don’t have to!  PADI Seal Team is a great way to introduce your 8-10 year olds to the basics of safe diving.  A PADI certified instructor will guide them through 5 different “Aquamissions” where Seals learn the building blocks of scuba.

The Seal Team program costs $325.  It includes the book, DVD, mask, fins, snorkel and the first 5 Aquamissions.  Additional Aquamissions may be purchased for $39 each.   

Seal Team meets at Central Coast on Sundays from 3-5pm.

The same material covered in our regular open water course, but this class is for kids only!  Central Coast’s Scuba Camp offers kids 10 and up:

     ♦ More time (vs regular class)  

     ♦ Peers as classmates

     ♦ Kid level academic teaching

     ♦ Kid sized gear

After finishing the camp, the kids will need to do 4 open water dives to complete their certification.  They can go locally with us, join one of our trips or go on a trip of their own.  Scuba camp pricing includes the book, instruction, pool time, and use of gear while at Central Coast. Campers need to supply mask, boots, fins, snorkel, course dvd and certification dive fees.

Scuba Camp meets Monday – Thursday from 6pm-9pm for 2 consecutive weeks.

This year's Scuba Camp dates are July 19-29.

Give your child a birthday that they’ll never forget!  Central Coast parties area unique alternative to traditional birthday celebrations. Kids six and seven years old enjoy snorkeling while those eight and up can try scuba.  When they emerge from the water, the kids are greeted by the aroma of hot pizza. Lunch is followed by a birthday cake complete with candles!  Each party lasts about 2½ hours. Can’t wait to turn 8?  That’s ok.  Central Coast offers kids as young as 5 their 1^st breath on scuba with the Supplied Air Snorkeling System for Youth (SASSY).  The “BCD” is like a life preserver that holds a real scuba tank with regulator and air gauge. Kids wear a mask and fins so they can practice scuba on the surface.
