Little Cayman Beach Resort
Date: July 11-18, 2020
Little Cayman is the definition of an island getaway. This destination, only ten miles long and ten miles wide, is a tranquil place with beautiful beaches and reefs. It is perfect for a relaxing dive, or beach lounging, vacation. Home to Bloody Bay Wall Marine Park, one of the most sought after dive destinations in the world, Little Cayman is the perfect place if you are looking to get away from everything and immerse yourself in the pristine marine life this beautiful island has to offer.
Starting at just 20 feet, Bloody Bay Wall Marine Park is considered one of the best walls in the world. A short boat ride from Little Cayman Beach Resort, this site is home to a variety of rare and exciting ocean creatures. Among them being some of the most friendly Nassau groupers. So curious, they might just join you on your exploration of their home. On this majestic wall you can also find eagle rays, turtles, black tip sharks, lobsters, octopus, many colorful fish, and perfectly preserved coral.
There is so much to do at this resort, and on the island, other than diving. You can spend the day fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or taking an afternoon nap in one of the hammocks located on the beautiful beach. If there’s a day where you feel like getting away from the water; go to the spa, play tennis, or rent a bike and take it around the island. Visit the Little Cayman Marine Museum or the Little Cayman Museum, learn about the past and gain a new appreciation for this paradise.
With beautiful reefs starting at 20 feet, all divers can feel comfortable, from the newest to the most seasoned. The Little Cayman Beach Resort is also good for divers traveling with someone who does not dive. Because this resort has so many relaxing and fun activities, not once will someone feel bored or out of place. Another plus of the shallow reefs is that it is perfect for snorkelers. A person who doesn’t dive can still enjoy the beauty that Little Cayman has to offer, without having to be a SCUBA diver.
