Katie fell in love with diving, completing over 100 dives in 4 countries in her first year as a Open Water diver alone. Hundreds of dives later, she has progressed through several levels of PADI certifications to ultimately earn her IDC Staff Instructor rating. She is a strong proponent of continuing education, and she personally makes an effort to experience a wide variety of types of diving – Deep/cold water wreck dives in the Atlantic, Wall dives in Turks & Caicos and Honduras, Drift dives in Cozumel, Quarry diving here in the midwest, Drysuit, Nitrox, boat and shore diving… they all offer new experiences to divers. Katie enjoys teaching divers of all ages and experience levels, from Bubblemakers to Divemasters!
